Far Cry 5 Alright I'm struggling here, I bought Far Cry the other day on sale through steam, never played the series before, thought I'd give it a shot. Love the game but this is becoming a nuisance, I cannot get reverse function to work with the controller. Hey, I'm trying to use my 360 controller with FC4 Patch 4 without success. It is detected and works on the title screen, but then the game ignores the pad completely. I can't therefore use it, and I'm stuck with the mouse+keyboard, which I feel doesn't feel right for Far Cry. I tried using another 360 pad but I get the same issue with it. I think this means you can play the map in the editor with a controller. But obviously you can't navigate a Windows Forms/Gui application with a controller. :P. AntiMicroX is a great tool for re-mapping a controller. Sorry to hear that you are all having trouble with controller not being picked up in game. The only issue I have now is wanting Armoury crate to not pick up ALL my steam games. Too many makes it lag lol. Manually deleting doesn’t always take them off when I boot the Ally back up. 😆. The settings for embedded controller in armory crate shortcuts is the setting that gets the controller working again. Yes, it does. Xbox 360 wired + wireless & Xbox One wired controllers will work perfectly, even if technically the game only has "Partial Controller Support" per Steam definition. Just_Landon. Today I wanted to play Far Cry 1 with a controller. So I looked up if I could online, and as It turns out you can! So I tried to with my new Xbox Series X controller. But for some reason it won't work. My assumption is that Far Cry 1 doesn't recognize the newer controller drivers, but I'm unsure. Really annoying to have to unplugg Rudder pedals, unplug Flight Throttle and unplug Joystick every time I want to play Far Cry for a few minutes. Why on earth does Far Cry 6 even try to use Rudder Pedals as a controller Howdy all. I spent some time working on a steam controller configuration to find a workaround for the not-so-uncommon controller issue. I do not know if my workaround will work on an Xbox 360 controller (as I don't have one to use in steam), but you're welcome to try. .
